Scope:

As a seasoned 3D Animator, you will be working in an agency, design studio, or similar creative environment.

Your portfolio will showcase outstanding projects that have generated tangible results.

You have experience collaborating with Creative Directors and other creatives from the initial design stages of a project through to delivery. With a broad range of animation styles at your disposal, you are capable of creating dynamic and compelling films that push the boundaries of creativity while maintaining a focus on commercial viability.

You are proficient in the Adobe Suite, particularly After Effects, as well as Cinema 4D, Redshift, and X-Particles. Knowledge of Houdini, 3DS Max, V-Ray Render, and Cavalry is also desirable. Your expertise should encompass modelling, animating, texturing, lighting, and setting up cameras for products, assets, and environments. Additionally, you have a solid understanding of animation principles.

Main Activities and Tasks:

  • Conceive and produce 3D (and occasionally 2D) projects that are engaging, on-brand, and meet deadlines.
  • Establish the scope, specifications, and requirements for briefs.
  • Collaborate with creative directors and other creatives to define animation style and art direction.
  • Animate existing models and create new products, assets, or environments.
  • Generate original ideas alongside the creative and video teams while adhering to brand guidelines and delivery formats.
  • Work with the video production coordinator, producers, and project managers to plan your time effectively and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Provide creative support to colleagues by offering constructive feedback.
  • Maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in an agency setting.
  • Excellent understanding of Cinema 4D, Redshift, X-Particles, and Red Giant.
  • Outstanding skills in 3D modelling, texturing, and lighting for models and environments, along with the ability to create fluid, smooth, and realistic animations.
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A passion for animation, with a continuous drive to stay updated on the latest techniques, industry developments, and technologies.
  • Exceptional understanding of animation principles and camera setup.
  • Ability to adapt to a variety of styles as projects demand.
  • A commercially minded approach to scoping ideas.
  • Capability to find creative solutions to problems and share knowledge with others.
  • An understanding of effective asset creation and optimization.
  • Exceptional creativity and innovation, with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
