Scope:

We are thrilled to announce a fantastic career opportunity to join our dynamic Design Studio Team located in the heart of Central Edinburgh. As we embark on our ambitious growth journey, we are in search of a highly motivated individual with a minimum of 3 years of solid design experience. Your expertise will play a critical role in helping us realise our vision for the future.

Expertise:

• Proficient in Adobe Suite, with a strong focus on retouching raw images captured in our photography studio and adept at resizing images to meet the specifications of retailer websites.
• Possess outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to swiftly adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain updated schedules and work progress reports to provide clear visibility on job status to all team members.
• Utilise Trello, our designated project management platform, to streamline all job-related activities and facilitate effective communication within the team.
• Follow established file and folder naming conventions rigorously to ensure that all projects can be easily identified and accessed.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of and adherence to brand guidelines, ensuring that all design work aligns with our established standards.
• Collaborate seamlessly with our in-house design studio and coordinate with other media teams, including copywriting, graphic design, and videography, to produce cohesive and compelling visual narratives

Key Skills:

• Work in close partnership with the Studio Management team to ensure that all design work is managed by our agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and performance targets.
• Collaborate effectively with the Creative Director to ensure that all outputs meet the highest standards of quality while remaining in line with our brand guidelines.
• Engage with internal "clients" to deliver innovative and creative design solutions, primarily serving various teams such as Buying (product), Brand Directors (product and sales), and Marketing (B2C and B2B marcoms).
• Utilise Photoshop to create stunning high-quality imagery for new product launches, showcasing both product shots and engaging lifestyle photography.
• Review images meticulously for retouching requirements and ensure that colors are accurately represented to match the physical products, delivering a flawless visual experience.
• Embrace flexibility and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while consistently meeting tight deadlines.
